Emily Ratajkowski: Harte Kritik für sexy Unterwäsche-Video!

Emily Ratajkowski ist dafür bekannt, viel Haut zu zeigen. Für den Adventskalender des Love Magazines legte das Model daher eine leichtbekleidete Performance hin. Ihre Video-Überraschung hatte es allerdings ganz schön in sich. Dieses Mal aalte sich das Model nämlich in Spaghetti und durfte sich für ihre feministische Botschaft daraufhin einiges anhören.

Sich in Spaghetti zu wälzen ist nicht unbedingt eine leckere Angelegenheit. Doch Emily Ratajkowski rieb sich ihren Körper so sexy mit Nudelsoße ein, dass dem einen oder anderen Instagram-Nutzer die Luft wegblieb. Während einige Menschen schimpften: „Mit Essen spielt man nicht“, konnten sich andere nicht an dem Anblick satt sehen. Doch vor allem einer ließ kein gutes Haar an Emily Ratajkowski! Der umstrittene TV-Moderator Piers Morgan konnte mit den halbnackten Aufnahmen des Models und ihrer feministischen Botschaft nämlich überhaupt nichts anfangen.

In the wake of the Harvey fallout and women coming forward with incredible amounts of sexual harassment cases, I have been so disappointed to hear women talk about „modesty“ and „our responsibility“ as if we need to, yet again, adjust to make it „easier“ for the rest of the world. I’m tired of having to consider how I might be perceived by men if I wear the short skirt or post a sexy Instagram. I want to do what I want to do. Feminism isn’t about adjusting, it’s about freedom and choice. Do you think viewers will understand that, given the current wider conversation about the sexual objectification of women? why or why not? What are the risks? This is something I’ve battled with personally and publicly. I’ve had men comment on sexy images of me online and say „this is empowering to you? Ha! I just masturbated to it so hope you feel good about yourself!“ I guess that’s the way people can react, which ironically, ultimately serves my point. I don’t care about your reaction or what you do with my expression of self. In fact, it has nothing to do with you at all and that’s the point-which is why it feels good. Emily Ratajkowski wird für heißen Love Magazine-Clip kritisiert!

Piers Morgan war von dem Love Magazine-Video so verärgert, dass er Emily Ratajkowski als „Dummchen“ bezeichnete. In der TV-Sendung Good Morning Britain wetterte der TV-Moderator: „Ich weiß nicht genau, was sie ist…Sie ist ein ziemliches Dummchen. Um Himmels Willen – zieh dir was an und such dir einen richtigen Job“. Zudem lästerte Piers Morgan auf Twitter: „Das ist Emily Ratajkowski ‚die für Feminismus wirbt‘. Irgendwo hat sich Emmeline Pankhurst [verstorbene britische Feministin, Anm. d. Red.] gerade übergeben“.

Doch diese Kritik ließ das Model nicht einfach auf sich sitzen und konterte auf Twitter: „Lol ich habe nie gesagt, dass mein Love-Video ein feministisches Statement war. Aber dazu kann ich jetzt nur sagen, dass Frauen vorzuschreiben, was sie mit ihren Körpern und ihrer Sexualität machen sollen, eigentlich nur klassischer Sexismus ist. Ich kann meine eigene Meinung über Feminismus haben und trotzdem sexy Fotoshootings machen, danke.“. Letztlich bekam das Model dank des Angriffs von Piers Morgan ihre feministische Botschaft dann ja doch noch unter!
